The College of Human Sciences has two central units that provide technical support and services to faculty and staff:
Information Technology (CHS IT Services)

- IT Consulting: Working with clients to determine needs and solutions

The following are technical services offered by the college and other campus units. If you require a service that is not listed, contact the unit most likely to offer the service to see if it can be provided. Accommodations are based on available resources, time, potential impact, sustainability, and whether the service is already provided by another ISU unit.

Note: Will assist with problems related to such things as laptop connection to projector and network, audio and video playback, document cameras, data projectors, and monitors/screens.
Purchasing software, computers, accessories

Note: All technology related purchases must be routed through CHS IT to be eligible for support. These include software licenses, desktops, laptops, iPads, computer accessories, etc. Questions about departmental licensing can be directed to Jennifer Flugge.
Technical support for office/research computers, peripherals
Supporting Unit: CHS IT Services
Note: CHS IT will do computer setup and configuration, software installation, hardware and software troubleshooting, virus removal, and assist with hardware repair. Provides assistance with server connections and general instructions about computer use. To be eligible for CHS IT support, the computer must have been purchased by a department or program within the College of Human Sciences for academic use OR purchased by grant money, or other money within a project or program, for academic use. CHS IT does not provide technical support for personal computers or equipment purchased through institutions not affiliated with the college.
